Congratulations to the new owners of Bousquet Mountain!

We are excited about the sale of Bousquet Ski Area to Mill Town. The Berkshires are so fortunate to have a hometown ski area, which Sherry and PJ Roberts have kept alive for several years until the right buyer could come along, and also incredibly fortunate to have a firm like Mill Town Capital that makes investments like this to improve the quality of life in our community. Congratulations to our team of attorneys and paralegals, including Jesse Cook-Dubin, Dennis Egan, Alexa Quartararo and Amanda J. Killeen, and the purchaser's law firm of Michael MacDonald and Kirsten Kristensen Rocca, who have worked on this transaction for many months.

Profiles of 365 Pittsfield Notable Figures

In honor of the City of Pittsfield celebrating 250 years of incorporation (April 26, 1761), The Berkshire Eagle profiled a notable figure in Pittsfield's history every day. When this series began in 2011, I decided to clip and save each article. Each profile, beginning with William Pitt on day 1 and ending with Monsignor Paul D. Riedl on day 365 and every one in between is both interesting and significant to our City and where we are today. Brian Sullivan, The Berkshire Eagle Editor responsible for each article, passed away on July 20, 2015.
