This mural was painted by Helen Schimmel in 1974. I hear she was a prolific painter, but this is the only one of hers in the house.

Unfortunately, it’s on the upstairs bathroom wall. I’m remodeling it this weekend. I might be able to cut it out and repair the wall.

If not, “it isn’t going to stand in the way of progress”, says a guy who still has some of his toys from 60-years ago.

Yes, the house and many of the rooms were pink or some version pink. With this remodel, pink will be successfully purged.
