I am attempting to locate the owner of these dogs which have been seen running loose in the circled area of Ryan Gross Road and down into the trailer park. I’d they are yours or your recognize them please give me a call. Nobody is “in trouble” but a few things came up I’d like to speak with the owner about. The two times the dogs have been up there I’ve been called about I was unable to catch them.

I am posting this for a resident in an unplanned short notice need to find homes for her pets. Below pictured are the cats, I have no other information on them. Any questions please comment here for her to answer & reply.

Also just a disclaimer. Negative comments will be removed. She has fallen on rough times and is doing the responsible thing seeking out help which in our county given there is no animal shelter is very difficult to do. Contrary to popular belief Mohawk Hudson does not take in all animals, I am not saying that to start an argument but that is the truth and I just wanted to remark on that before that is suggested as an option. This is just another example of why each county NEEDS a municipal shelter.

Shocking more dogs found in town with no tags, it’s pretty simple folks they attach right to collars they are already wearing.

These two were located at Johnsonville Rd & Factory Hollow Rd.

Recently, a local resident noticed what appeared to be a growing animal neglect situation and did the right thing by reporting her concerns to police. While the situation did not ultimately meet the threshold for any legal action as the owner was meeting the states required bare minimum needs, she remained concerned about the dog's welfare and continued trying to help.

Through patience and communication with the owner, she was eventually able to take custody of the dog on behalf of the owner. Since then, she has gone above and beyond to give him (Eddie) a second chance. She has temporarily placed her own dog with family so she could focus on helping him, provided stability and paid for veterinary care, and is arranging to have him neutered.

She has reached out to numerous rescue organizations, including Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, but unfortunately every avenue has been a dead end, mostly citing they don’t have any room.

This dog has been given a chance because one person was willing to step up when others wouldn't. Now he needs the final piece of the puzzle: a permanent home.

If you may be interested in adopting Eddie (currently around 45lbs about 1-2 years old), or would like more information, please send me a message. I will gladly connect you directly with his current caretaker and answer any questions I can to help find the right match.
