Sharing again, we just got another black racer snake caught up in this garden netting. We were able to free it and thankfully it was not injured. Many animals and not just snakes fall victim to these plastic garden nettings and many of them do not survive. Please help us spread awareness!

Skunk Time! These five little baby skunks were found all alone without their mother. They’re too young to be on their own and we are happy to care for them until they are ready to be independent! It’s a bit early for baby skunks… historically, we wouldn’t get this species young in until July, but everything seems early this year!

A sincere thank you to all that came to Wild Fest on Sunday! Your generous support of Woodlands was truly remarkable. Hundreds of you showed up and stayed for an afternoon and evening of an incredible line up of music, delicious food, perfect weather, friends and families getting together, kids activities- fairy hair and face painting, tricky tray fun, 50/50 chances, Woodlands merchandise, and more! We are so grateful for the wonderful community that came together on behalf of Woodlands Wildlife and New Jersey’s amazing wild animals. Could not have done it without an army of volunteers, interns, staff and board members! There will be pictures and videos to share in the very near future! In the meantime feel free to tag us on yours and enjoy this quick look at the crowd you brought to Wild Fest! Thank you, thank you, thank you to all!
