UPGRADE YOUR TRUCK & TOOL SECURITY!

Thieves can empty a work truck in under two minutes. Standard factory locks are often not enough to stop them.

Take your truck security to the next level with these advanced, specific actions:

• Upgrade locks: Install heavy-duty puck locks or hockey-puck style padlocks on your external toolboxes.
• Deadbolt your doors: Add aftermarket internal deadbolts to your van or truck cab doors.
• Window security: Apply shatterproof security film to all side and rear windows.
• Add internal cages: Install a steel mesh bulkhead partition between the cab and the cargo area.
• Secure the box: Bolt your truck bed toolboxes directly to the vehicle frame from the inside.
• Chain large items: Thread a heavy-duty, hardened steel chain through generator and compressor handles.
• Invisi-mark: Use UV fluorescent pens to write your driver's license number on plastic tool casings.
• Dashcam watch: Use a hardwired dashcam with a 24/7 "parking mode" that records motion.
• Alarm the shell: Tie your camper shell or canopy doors directly into your truck’s central alarm system.
• Bright colors: Spray-paint tool handles neon pink or bright green to make them impossible to resell.

Consider these strategic approaches for integrating tracking technology with professional tools and equipment:

• Internal Compartments: Many larger power tools and machinery have internal voids or housing compartments where small tracking units can be securely placed without interfering with the tool's operation.
• Battery and Charging Systems: Tracking devices can often be integrated into the design of base stations or within the bulky casings of high-capacity battery packs.
• Structural Integration: Utilizing the hollow framework of large equipment like ladders, generator frames, or rolling tool chests allows for the placement of trackers in areas that are not immediately obvious.
• A standalone AirTag tells you where your tools are after you notice they're gone. Airpinpoint adds proactive alerts that tell you the moment tools leave your truck or shop.

Don't make it easy for thieves. Layer your security so your truck is the hardest target on the block.
