On February 10, 2020, at 5:12 P.M., Placentia Police Department Officers were sent to the parking lot of Mr. K’s Liquor at 615 W. Orangethorpe Ave in Placentia. Three unconscious men were discovered inside a vehicle by a passerby. When officers arrived, they found the men seated in the vehicle, unresponsive. Officers and paramedics from OCFA Stations 34 and 35 began rendering medical aid that included the use of the Narcan (an anti-opiate medication). After several doses of Narcan, the men began to regain consciousness. They were transported to a nearby hospital for additional treatment.
The three men were coworkers at an Anaheim based landscaping company. Drug paraphernalia and a white powder, believed to be fentanyl, was found at the scene. An interview with the men confirmed that the men had ingested the powder, believing it was co***ne.
late.
Anyone with information on this case is encouraged to call Placentia Police (714) 993-8164. Anonymous tips can also be submitted to Orange County Crime Stoppers at (855) TIP-OCCS or on their website http://occrimestoppers.org.

Yesterday, our officers were dispatched to a parking lot on the 700 block of Kimberly regarding dogs being in an unattended car during the hot day. When the officers arrived and began their investigation, they encountered 1 male and 2 females. The male and 1 of the females had warrants for their arrest. This female also had m**h, he**in, and drug paraphernalia on her. The male had he**in on him and a handgun with ammunition and several high capacity magazines in his backpack. The second female had m**h and drug paraphernalia on her. The male was a felon, which added to his charges. All 3 suspects were arrested. The dogs were not in the car when we arrived and appeared ok. They were picked up by OC Animal Care. Great police work by our Day Watch crew!
