The Placitas Community Library is proud to partner with the Placitas Studio Tour to support and promote our local artists by presenting a special exhibition that highlights the diverse fine arts and crafts created right here in our community. Join us for a special preview of the 29th Annual Placitas Studio Tour Preview Exhibit, featuring the work of 62 Placitas artists who will be located in 48 studios throughout Placitas during the three day tour.

This collaboration supports the tour artists in a number of ways. In addition to providing a sampling of each artist's work, the Placitas Studio Tour has made a financial contribution to the Library, so that 100% of the sales from this exhibition goes directly to the artists.

The Preview Exhibit opens on April 14th and runs through May 10th, organized by studio number and neighborhood — the perfect way to plan your tour before Mother’s Day weekend!

10:00 am to 5:00 pm daily

Join us for the 2026 Spring Fling on Saturday, April 11th from 9-3 at 453 Hwy 165 in Placitas, NM.

Annual fundraiser. All are welcome!!!
We will have plants, baked goods, books, DVDs, CDs, audiobooks, Talavera, jewelry, home decor and kitchen items.
All proceeds benefit the Library.

Circle the seeds you want on a Seed Library Program Order Form, which can be obtained from the Help Desk at the Library or on the Library’s website placitaslibrary.com/seeds-gardens/ Bring the Seed Library Program Order Form to the Library, and a volunteer will assist you in filling your order. You don’t need to have a library card to request seed packets.
