National Night Out with the Plain City Police and Pleasant Valley Fire Department was a huge success last night. 🚓👮‍♂️👮🚒👩‍🚒👨🏽‍🚒

Children got to enjoy police bounce house, fire safety house, face painting, balloon making, archery with ODNR, touch a truck, free hot dogs, free chips & salsa from Siete Catrines Mexican Restaurant, corn hole, and ice cream from Lil e’s Ice Cream truck who served over 500 ice cream treats, and a whole lot more.🍦🥤🎯🌭

But, the best part of the event is the positive relationship we build with our youth and citizens.

Thanks to everyone that made this event so successful and especially to our community, because without their overwhelming support, this event wouldn’t be possible.

We are already looking forward to next year’s event.

Chief McKee had the privilege to be interviewed by Kenna today for her kindergarten homeschool project. 📖

Kenna was very excited and had come up with some very good questions on her own concerning police work. 👮‍♂️👮

She and her family just moved here from another state and are already loving our great community! 🤗

This is definitely the best part of our job! 🚓
