📚✨ We’re so excited to finally share our latest (and greatest!) project… Books for Babies! ✨📚

The Friends of the Kraemer Library and Spring Green Libraries, and our amazing librarians—Nick, Emily, and Troy—are thrilled to reintroduce this special program to our community.

Several years ago, the Friends launched Books for Babies with a simple but powerful goal: to place books in the hands of our youngest readers. New parents received a free bag filled with books and information about library resources.

Now, we’re bringing it back—bigger and better! 💛

Through a new partnership between our libraries, we’ve expanded the program to reach even more families. One exciting addition is our collaboration with local clinics throughout the River Valley area, where postcards are being shared during visits to help spread the word.

👶 Families with a baby (up to age 2) are invited to stop by their local library—Plain, Spring Green, or Lone Rock—to receive a FREE alphabet canvas tote filled with books and helpful resources.

We hope this special bag gives families a reason to visit the library from the very beginning—because it’s never too early to grow a love of reading. 🌈📖

Heads up, patrons! We wanted to let you know that starting April 13–16, both the library and our online services will be running at reduced capacity while we update our online catalog. The Main Library will be closed April 13–15, but meeting rooms will still be open and available.
