Great fun was had at the library last night! I’m pleased to announce it was our 1st Annual Plant Bingo! We are definitely going to do it again next year! Thanks to Cate Farm and the Plainfield Co-op for plant donations and Grace Worcester for being our fantastic caller!

We have the plants! We have the bingo cage thingy! And we are ready to hang out with plant lovers to play bingo for plants!!

Plant Bingo
Thursday, June 4th, from 6 to 7:30 PM.
Plant Bingo is a playful twist on classic bingo where the prizes are living plants. Each round is called as usual, and winners get to choose from a selection of houseplants, perennials, and other green surprises to take home. It’s a relaxed, social event for plant lovers and the plant-curious alike, and an easy way to meet others, learn about new species, and leave with something that grows. Bring a plant to share if you’d like, or simply make a small donation to join the game. Everyone is welcome! No sign-up necessary. Come join the game!

Cate Farms and the Plainfield Co-op have generously donated plants for the program.

Plant Bingo is coming to the Cutler Memorial Library! So save the date: Thursday, June 4th, from 6 to 7:30 PM.

Plant Bingo is a twist on traditional bingo, with prizes as plants. As each round is called, winners get to choose from a variety of plants to take home—houseplants, perennials, and other surprises. Bring a plant to share if you’d like, or make a small donation to join in the fun.

The Cutler will not have Story & Song tomorrow morning, as I will be attending the Children’s Literacy Foundation Conference. However, we will have OpenPlay from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., giving children a chance to explore our toys and books while caregivers enjoy a welcoming, sociable atmosphere.
