As a 22-year federal civilian employee, I’ve devoted my entire adult life to public service, continuing a proud family tradition of serving this great nation.

Both of my grandfathers served in the military—one overseas in World War II and the other in the Korean War. My Uncle served during Vietnam, and other family members have worked for the ATF and Secret Service. Today, I’m incredibly proud to share that my stepson graduated from his technical school in the Air Force, stepping up to serve in his own way.

Public service isn’t just a job for my family—it’s a calling. It’s about ensuring our communities are safe, secure, and thriving. It’s about giving back and making a difference, no matter the cost. I am committed to these values, just as my family has been for generations.

Now more than ever, we need leadership that understands the importance of service, sacrifice, and dedication to the people. Together, we can keep Plainfield a great place to live.

Another bad decision on its way from the current board. The last thing we need are more of the same looking Monopoly houses. This will add over a thousand more residents. No talk about student increases to our schools, still no infrastructure changes, we are all still sitting at congested intersections and blocked train crossings. Zero thought going into the future here.

Just one more day folks. Then it’s decision time. I am a new voice for this Board and want to make a difference within our Village. Keeping your hard earned money in your Village is a key component to my plan. I hope you vote for number 3 on the ballot tomorrow, Peter Adamson.

Early voting ends today! Swing by Village Hall to get your vote in. If you can’t make it out today, you can still vote in the election on TUESDAY

Tomorrow is the last day to vote early at the Village Hall. Voting hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Voters must live in Will County.
