Know the Do's & Don'ts of Garbage & Recycling Collection!

Help keep Plainfield clean by following a few simple collection guidelines. Properly preparing your trash and recycling helps ensure timely collection, reduces litter, and keeps our neighborhoods looking their best.

Remember to:
✓ Place containers at the curb before collection day.
✓ Keep trash inside containers with lids fully closed.
✓ Bundle cardboard before placing it out.
✓ Recycle only approved co-mingled materials such as bottles, cans, and plastics.

Please do not overfill containers, mix garbage with recycling, place trash on the ground, or dispose of construction debris in your containers.

Collection days vary by zone. Be sure to check your collection calendar for your scheduled pickup day.
