The Fitness Center reopens this Saturday, September 5! And we’re excited to say it will be better than before!

As we make the final adjustments, the limited cardio equipment and weights in our modified Fitness Center in Room 139 will be unavailable Thursday, September 3 and Friday, September 4 while equipment is moved upstairs.

We sincerely apologize for the continued inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we put the finishing touches on these improvements. We know the wait has been an adjustment, but we think you’ll love what’s coming!

Don't forget! Outdoor Splash Island is open for its FINAL weekend of the season! Come soak up those last summer days this Labor Day weekend.

Last Friday, we celebrated our final Members Night of the season at Splash Island! Thank you to all of our amazing members who joined us for a fun-filled evening. We hope you’ve enjoyed making memories with us all summer long.

On Friday evening, we celebrated Dog Days of Summer at Franklin Park Bark Park! Our four-legged friends enjoyed a fun goodie bag, plenty of playtime, and lots of time to make new memories with their bark park buddies.

A big THANK YOU to everyone who came out and helped make the evening so much fun! We loved seeing your happy pups enjoying the park.

Happy Belated National Dog Day!

Yesterday was National Dog Day, and we couldn’t let the day go by without celebrating some of the cutest members of the Plainfield Parks & Recreation family!

From zoomies and playtime to new friendships and plenty of tail wags, our Bark Park pups know how to have a good time.

If you are a Bark Park Member, don’t forget to join our Dog Days of Summer event this Friday, August 28th, from 5pm-7pm at the Franklin Park Bark Park!

Registration for the Plainfield Junior Basketball League (PJBL) is officially OPEN, and we’re excited to partner with the Indiana Pacers again this year!

Whether your player is just learning the game or already loves being on the court, PJBL is a great way to build skills, have fun and get in the game.

🏀 Kindergarten through High School
🏀 Ages 5–18
🏀 Registration: $110 for Kindergarten, $125 for Grades 1st & 2nd, $160 for Grades 3rd-High School
🏀 Season begins in November
🏀 Registration closes October 31

PJBL is open to Plainfield residents, Plainfield students and all Carlucci Recreation & Aquatic Center members.

The Richard A. Carlucci Recreation & Aquatic Center is officially open again, but we’re reopening under modified operations while our improvement projects continue.

In the meantime, we’ve set up Room 139B as a temporary fitness space with a selection of equipment for members to use. We wanted to share a look at the space so you know what to expect when you come in.

You can also still get your group fitness fix! Aerobic classes are being held in Room 139A while the upstairs Fitness Center is closed.

The upstairs Fitness Center remains closed while the new flooring is completed. We anticipate the upstairs Fitness Center will reopen on September 5.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue making improvements to the facility. We know the temporary setup isn’t quite the same as the full Fitness Center, but we’re glad to have you back and appreciate you working with us while we finish up!
