Dr. Atakora Agoro’s journey from Togo to the United States is a powerful example of perseverance and the promise of the American dream. After immigrating in 2011 through the Diversity Visa Lottery Program, he worked as a custodian at Grande Park Elementary while continuing his education, recently earning his Ph.D.—a remarkable achievement that has inspired students, staff, and families throughout the community. As a former Physics and Chemistry teacher whose family has also achieved significant educational milestones, Dr. Agoro’s story reflects the transformative power of hard work, education, and determination, and the Grande Park community is incredibly proud of his accomplishments. Today we said goodbye to our amazing 5th graders at Grande Park Elementary! It has been such a joy watching you learn, grow, lead, and make memories throughout your time here. We are so proud of all you have accomplished and can’t wait to see all the incredible things you do in middle school and beyond.

Wishing each of you the very best of luck next year and a fun, relaxing summer filled with new adventures. Remember… once a Grizzly, always a Grizzly! 🐻 ❤️ 💙 🎓

Another unforgettable year at Grande Park Elementary is in the books! From learning and laughter to friendships, celebrations, and memories that will last a lifetime. Our Grizzlies truly “ran it” this year. ❤️💙

This day was such a special full-circle moment at Grande Park! 🎓💙

We loved welcoming back our graduating seniors as they walked the halls one more time and celebrated all they have accomplished. Seeing these students return taller, wiser, and ready for their next chapter just reminded us why we do what we do every day.

Teachers were so excited to reconnect with the students they once taught, remembering the little grade school moments that helped shape the incredible young adults they have become. We are beyond proud of each and every one of them and can’t wait to see all the amazing things their futures hold.

Due to the predicted storms and rain on Monday & Tuesday, our team has made a decision to move Field Day to Thursday, May 21st. This will give the field time to dry and volunteers to be able to adjust schedules. It will be happen rain or shine - let's hope the forecast remains dry! With this change, please plan on students wearing their grade level shirts/colors on Thursday vs. Monday. We will send out more detailed information regarding the day on Tuesday of next week.
