Crime & Public Safety
o The City of Plainfield’s Police Division needs a sworn law enforcement executive in charge of the day-to-day operations to avoid any political influence and/or interference. o Public Safety is the engine that drives future economic growth in the City of Plainfield. Plainfield needs a law enforcement executive that understands this and institutes plans to reduce crime and
increase public safety city-wide. o Plainfield needs a combined Public Safety Strategy that included Police, Fire, Emergency Management and Health. We must be prepared for any emergency. Ethical Leadership
o The citizens of Plainfield, and especially from the First Ward, need a representative that has proven leadership by professional peers. I have served on national, state and local boards because of my proven and demonstrated leadership abilities. o Plainfield and the First Ward need a legislator who has demonstrated the ability to work cooperatively and respectfully with others, even when not agreeing with all perspectives. Fiscal Responsibility
o Plainfield and the First Ward need a legislator that has the ability to analyze financial reports and budgets and reach logical and reasonable conclusions. My training and education give me that ability. o As First Ward Councilman, I will be a watchman over the municipal budget to ensure responsible spending. Economic Development
o Economic development is tied to public safety. Plainfield need a legislator that understands this relationship and supports a sworn law enforcement leader that will work with the Administration to bring about a safe and secure environment to ensure quality development that brings tax revenue relief to the home owners of Plainfield. o The Business community of Plainfield must be encouraged to follow the laws regard the display of their merchandise within their businesses. Together we must raise the quality level of our business to attract all our citizens.
