We were happy to do this once again this year. Thank you to SHE PTO for providing the opportunity to give one of three lucky winners a ride to school and thank you to all the students and parents for helping Project PIN continue to do their awesome work.

Also, thank you to our lucky winner for the donuts and this great picture (see comments). It did make it to our fridge for all of our staff to see.

Today we remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Please take a moment today to remember these heros, perhaps learn their stories, and may we all remember that our freedom came at a very high price.

We extend our condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of Retired Trooper First Class Nicholas Leary.

"Nick was a dedicated husband, father and professional. Early on in my career I had the blessing of working alongside TFC Leary. He was a great example of what a professional should be.

In the last few years I had the privilege of meeting his wonderful wife and kids. Truly a tremendous family. He will be missed, but his example and the calls we we did together will always be remembered." - Chief Wood

We are grateful for the men and women who work 24/7 to be the first point of contact when a medical emergency arises. These dedicated professionals work tirelessly to make sure that when you are ill or injured there is someone there to provide care and bring you to thr emergency room. Early care provides some of the best outcomes for patients.

We would also be remiss if we did not thank their family and friends for allowing the communities we serve the time away to help those in need. We are also thankful for the community who supports us as we endeavor to bring high quality care to you and your loved ones.

Happy Police Week to the men and women of law enforcement we work alongside on a daily basis.

These partners in emergency services are there when we need them the most. As EMS we teach "scene safety" as one of the top priorities before entering any call. That key aspect is accomplished with the help and determination of the officers of the Plainfield Police Department and troopers of Connecticut State Police Troop D.

Thank you for all you do for our community and stay safe out there!

We extend our warmest wishes for a Happy Mother's Day to all the mom's, grandmother's, and those who are mom to someone.

We are blessed to have some of these women among our ranks. They not only are EMT's serving their community, but strong women guiding another generation. Thank you ladies for all you do!

On International Firefighters day we are reminded of and thankful for all the men and women we work alongside everyday. These dedicated individuals go above and beyond the call of duty to help those in their most vulnerable moments. Such partners are what makes emergency services such a special thing.

Thank you Atwood Hose Fire Company, Moosup Fire Department Plainfield Fire Co. #1, Central Village Fire Company Station 97, Sterling Fire/Rescue, and Oneco Fire Department for your dedication to the community and partnership with us. If anyone is interested in serving their community these folks are always looking for volunteers.

We wish to say extend our thanks to the dedicated men and women who are the first point of contact in any emergency.

911 dispatchers are the reassuring voice that help is on the way. They are also the ones who help make each emergency call successful by assisting their fellow first responders in obtaining the resources they may need.

The first responder family is vast. Some you see, some you only hear, but all are there when it matters.

We just want to say thank you to this wonderful community. Thanks to you many families will be blessed this season. Words can never express how grateful we are to be able to serve such an awesome community.

Thank you also to the folks at the Plainfield Backus Emergency Care Center whom we partner with to make this all possible. Healthcare isn't just about the physical body, but about people as a whole. These wonderful providers prove that day in and out.
