Our Gentle Chair Yoga classes are about far more than movement. They are about connection, laughter, healing, friendship, and the shared joy that comes from being together. It's an honor to provide a welcoming space where everyone leaves feeling healthier in body, mind, and spirit.

Your insight reminds us that service is never one-sided. Every smile, every conversation, and every class enriches not only our seniors but also those who have the privilege of serving them.

Our hallway just got a whole lot groovier! ✌️🎨

We’re excited to finally display our colorful Tie-Dye Project throughout the Senior Center hallway! Each piece is as unique as the artist who created it, featuring vibrant colors, swirling designs, and one-of-a-kind patterns that brighten the space and make everyone smile.

Our talented seniors embraced the creative process, and the results are a beautiful reminder that creativity has no age. Every design tells its own story, and together they’ve transformed our hallway into a joyful celebration of color, individuality, and community.

🇺🇸 Our windows are looking a little more patriotic thanks to the incredible creativity of the Plainfield Seniors!

This week, our talented artists transformed our windows into a festive Independence Day display filled with stars, fireworks, flags, and red, white, and blue spirit. More than just decorations, these paintings celebrate creativity, community, and the joy of making art together.

Thank you to everyone who picked up a paintbrush and shared their imagination. If you’re in the area, stop by and enjoy the artwork—it’s a wonderful reminder that creativity has no age limit.

❤️🖤💚 Happy Juneteenth! ❤️🖤💚

Today, we celebrate Juneteenth, a day that commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the United States. On June 19, 1865, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed, enslaved people in Galveston, Texas were finally informed of their freedom.

Juneteenth is a time to honor the resilience, strength, and contributions of African Americans throughout history. It is also an opportunity to reflect on the ongoing pursuit of equality, justice, and unity in our communities.

As we celebrate this important day, let us remember the past, recognize the progress made, and continue working toward a future where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
