On May 22nd, we held a beautiful Post-Mother’s Day celebration hosted with the support of Apostle Bernadette Evans and friends. It was truly a wonderful time as mothers connected, formed new friendships, exchanged numbers, and enjoyed some well-deserved mommy time together. We are so grateful to have been able to celebrate the amazing mothers of Family Promise Union County in such a meaningful way. We hope to do this again soon!

Family Promise Union County and Ms. Young of Cardinal Family Success Center attended Cardinal Day at Plainfield High School. Cardinal Day provided resources to the community along with fun activities such as rock climbing and a petting zoo. It was a lovely event, and we were grateful for the opportunity to connect with community members and share information about available resources.

Family Promise Union County had the privilege of visiting Faith Lutheran Church, the first congregation to partner in supporting families and working to end homelessness alongside our founder, Karen Olson. During our visit, we reflected on their remarkable legacy and longstanding commitment to our mission. It was truly meaningful to experience this history firsthand while also sharing the current and ongoing needs within our community.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Faith Lutheran Church for their continued support, dedication, and partnership in helping families achieve stability.

Family Promise Union County hosted a Spring Clean-Up today, bringing together board members and volunteers to refresh our new Plainfield office and make it more welcoming for the community ahead of our upcoming Open House.
