On this day, we remember.

On this day, all of us in the Illinois Young Republicans remember the sacrifices of the heroes who were a part of the invasion of Normandy, on June 6, 1944. Their heroic determination to help bring an end to one of the most brutal regimes in human history, shall forever be remembered by liberty loving people everywhere!

With today’s announcement by the Chicago Bears, of their decision to relocate to Hammond Indiana, the people of Illinois suffered a massive loss. Not only will Illinois be losing its only major League Football team, but it will also be losing a major driver of the state’s economy, and a loss of any related tax revenue due to the Bears presence in Illinois.

The Illinois Young Republicans call on the voters of Illinois, to remember that this sad announcement falls on the lap of Governor Pritzker and the Illinois Democrats in the state legislature, and that they deserve to be voted out of office for dropping the ball on this issue. We therefore call on every Illinois voter to vote Republican in November, in order to help prevent future departures from Illinois!
