At Central, we believe that growth is about so much more than academics. We want our students to grow into kind, resilient, responsible kids who work hard, care for others, and make our school a better place. One way we celebrate that growth is through our Central GROW Leaves! 🍃

So, if your child comes home excited to tell you they earned a GROW Leaf, celebrate with them! Ask them what they did to earn it and remind them that the little choices they make each day are helping them grow.

We can’t wait to see our trees—and our kids—continue to GROW this year!

We Are Central. Watch Us Grow! 🌱💚

Down in the stem lab 4th graders made molds of Indiana for a geography unit in Social Studies and Science. They then painted them to show the regions and added geographical features. Students are ALSO creating clay representations of the layers of the Earth. Sounds like 4th grade is the place to be for Social Studies and Science!

Fun fact: did you know bees go to flowers for their nectar, not the pollen, and they use their rreeeaaallly long tongues to get the nectar? Third graders have been learning about animals adaptations lately. Most recently, some “pollinated” different flowers with bees they created and different spices acting as the pollen.
