🌾🐮 Our Third Graders Explore Agriculture at Ag Day! 🚜🎃

Our WLS third graders had a fantastic time at Ag Day on Friday, October 9! From learning about the parts of pumpkins and flowers to exploring farm animals and bull riding, our students enjoyed a day full of hands-on learning and fun!

🐴🐰 The petting zoo was definitely a favorite! Students loved getting up close with Highland cows, a miniature horse, a miniature donkey, rabbits, and more!

A BIG thank you to the FFA students for sharing their knowledge and making this such a fun and memorable experience for our third graders! 💙

🥫 WLS is FIRED UP to GIVE BACK! 🥫

Our annual Fired Up Food Drive benefiting the Voluntary Action Center will take place October 19–23!

We are collecting non-perishable food items to help families right here in Gordon County! Every donation, big or small, makes a difference!

🥫 Suggested donations include:

* Canned vegetables, beans, and peas
* Canned or instant potatoes
* Canned tomatoes, sauces, and paste
* Canned soups and pasta
* Canned meats (tuna, Spam, Vienna sausages, etc.)
* Instant noodles and ramen

📦 Students can bring donations to their homeroom teachers throughout the week.

🍕 Here’s a little extra motivation! The homeroom that collects the MOST food items will win a PIZZA PARTY!

Let’s show our community what the WLS Wolf Pack can do when we work together!

🍂🎃 Fall Festival is right after Fall Break, and we need YOUR help! 🎃🍂

While you’re enjoying a little time off, grab a jar and get creative—we need Jiffy Jars! 🍬✨ Fill a quart-size jar (or something similar) with candy, treats, or fun goodies and decorate it however you’d like!

It’s the perfect little Fall Break project for the whole family! 🍁 We can’t wait to see all of your creative Jiffy Jars when we return!
