We had an eventful morning with our pals Delton Fire Department doing some fire training 🔥we did some search and rescue with RIT and ventilation evolutions as well as some airway management for the medical side of things ⚕️Great training for and from everyone involved! Big thanks to Hickory Corners Fire Department and Fire Club for sharing your mannequins and airway equipment!

This Sunday, 7/19, from 9am-1pm we will be doing a training on Lakeway Dr (right off Lindsay rd by the department) There will likely be some smoke visible so don’t be alarmed! It’s just us 😊

We have had a large influx of CO alarm calls since the storms these last few days so here’s a few safety tips to operate your generator safely 😊

Following this evening’s storm, our crews responded to several emergency calls throughout the township, including downed power lines, trees blocking roadways, and fire-related incidents.

We want to thank our dedicated firefighters and first responders for their hard work and commitment to keeping our community safe during the severe weather.

A special shout-out goes to the Barry County Central Dispatch team for their outstanding assistance, professionalism, and patience throughout the event. Your coordination and support were invaluable, and we truly appreciate everything you do behind the scenes.

As always, if you encounter downed power lines, assume they are energized, stay away, and report them immediately. Thank you to our community for your patience and support while crews worked to respond to these incidents safely.
