Update on the recent road closures for new culverts being in stalled. The roads previously mentioned will be closed until next week Monday or Tuesday

Road closures today Thursday Aug 27. There's a good chance these roads will be opened later today.
263rd st will be closed from 381st Ave to 383rd Ave.
382nd ave will be closed from 262nd st to 264th st

The Aurora County burn ban has been officially taken off by the Commisioners.

The east/west Wilmarth road, right by Wilmarth, will be closed for the next several days as crews are replacing a culvert. Please do not go around baracades as they are to protect the workers and public from possible accidents. Thank you

The road closure on the brule County line is open again

There will be a road closure on the Brule County line, 369th Ave, from 244th st to 245th st for the next 3 days. When the road is opened I will post that as well. Thank you.

249th st is open again for those living in that area

There will be a road closed for the next 3 days north of plankinton. It is 1 mile of 249th st from 384th Ave to 385th Ave. It is the mile stretch just north of Rustin Bruns going east for 1 mile. I will update when the road is opened. Thank you

The Aurora County Commissioners met by special meeting this morning and temporarily lifted the burn ban, a reminder that all controlled burns need to still be called in to 605-995-8400. If you have any questions please let me know.
