Your Plano Firefighters responded to a 2 alarm fire at the Dallas Morning News early this morning. Fire crews worked inside the building to locate and extinguish the fire. The cause will be investigated and no injuries were reported.

Strong work 💪🏻 by 2 of your Station 2 firefighters!

Your Plano Firefighters were recognized by Medical City Plano for their lifesaving work on a patient who suffered multiple stab wounds last month. Thanks to their rapid interventions and a looong trip to the operating room, the patient is in on track to make a full recovery.

Firefighter Paramedics Smith and Lariviere and their families were in attendance for the awards ceremony today.

Without the skilled work of your Plano Firefighters, the outcome would have been very different.

Great job, guys!

Last month, Fire Prevention Month, they collected and donated more than 3 pallets of water and sports drinks for our Operations Personnel.
