Rotarian Roxana Iannarelli was recognized at our club meeting last week as a Paul Harris Fellow, which means she has contributed, or had contributed in her name, $1,000 to The Rotary Foundation. Rotarian Mike Walker was also recognized for his Paul Harris Fellow +1, which means he has now reached the $2,000 level.

Contributions to The Rotary Foundation support projects that change lives both close to home and around the world. Let's give Roxana and Mike a hand! 👏

With the recent freezing weather we've been having, our club volunteers have been supporting the Plano Overnight Warming Station which is potentially lifesaving for Plano residents without shelter. This falls under Rotary's focus on promoting peace and providing clean water, sanitation, and hygiene. The holidays are a time to celebrate with family and friends, but they are also a time for serving others. And Plano West Rotary Club members were especially busy this month, helping put on the Plano Holiday Parade, distributing Toys for Tots, making kids’ crafts at Dickens, and distributing free meals to PISD students and families.

Merry Christmas to those who celebrate, and a happy holiday season and new year to all!
