Kathy Hackett Memorial Scholarship Application 2021-2022

Seniors — please check out this scholarship opportunity! This spring will be the inaugural year that PWCBC will have 2 scholarships to award to graduating seniors! The Kathy Hackett Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to 2 seniors: the first to a senior planning to study/major in music in college and the second to a senior going on to an accredited school of higher learning. Kathy Hackett was the PW Choir director from 2001 until her passing in 2019. She loved PW Choir and inspired many students to aim high during her tenure at PW. These scholarships are designed to honor Kathy Hackett and provide Plano West Choir students academic support as they embark upon their future beyond high school. Congratulations to our All Region Choir participants on a great day and a beautiful concert. We had 37 students participate from PWSH. Many thanks to our Choir Directors, Sarah Council and Micah Kracja for their hours of extra work and preparation to help our students get to this honor.
