North Texas Food Bank

North Texas Food Bank The North Texas Food Bank is working towards a hunger-free, healthy North Texas. The North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) is a top-ranked nonprofit hunger-relief organization operating a state-of-the-art volunteer and distribution center in Plano— the Perot Family Campus.
(124)

Last year, the Food Bank worked hard in partnership with member agencies from our Feeding Network to provide access to almost 77 million nutritious meals across a diverse 13-county service area— this means more than 200,000 meals per day for hungry children, seniors and families. But the need for hunger relief in North Texas is complex and in order to meet the need, the NTFB is working to increase our food distribution efforts. Our goal is to provide access to 92 million nutritious meals annually by 2025. NTFB is a member of Feeding America, a national hunger-relief organization.

Mission: The North Texas Food Bank's mission is to close the hunger gap in North Texas by providing access to nutritious food.

When our neighbors needed us most, our compassionate supporters stepped up. Thanks to our generous match sponsors: The Priscilla Endicott Charitable Foundation, The Ryan Foundation and Anonymous, and the unwavering support from the community, we raised enough funds to provide more than 5.6 million nutritious meals for North Texas Giving Day. Thank you Communities Foundation of Texas for making this day possible each year and for building thriving communities. Because of this generosity, children, seniors and families will have one less thing to worry about: access to nutritious food. And we will continue to work to meet the increased need we've been facing since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Thank you for being there for North Texans facing hunger, and for your support on North Texas Giving Day!

Prayerfully consider giving to help others! Please consider sharing part of what the Father has given you!
Really appreciate all you do. Question for you. Do you accept plastic ware as a donation? (Plastic forks, spoons, knives, etc?)
If you're able, please consider supporting your local food bank. A lot of people need help right now!

God knows the past couple of months have been a shot to the heart and soul, as well as all our psyches. I've had so many friends saying they just want to do something, anything. I can personally guarantee that donating to North Texas Food Bank is something that is absolutely necessary, and appreciated. It has been so incredibly humbling to see and hear all the amazing work that's being done every single day by these people to put food on the tables of those who need it most. The random cruelty and financial devastation of this pandemic has made their work all the more necessary now. I know none of us are sitting pretty right now, having to plan for an uncertain future that seems to take another twist each week. But today, on North Texas Giving Day, whatever you can contribute will certainly go farther.
I feel like its safe enough now to volunteer here and looking forward to getting out there and serving.!!!!
Looking forward to volunteerig at North Texas Food Bank. It is a fun place to work and fellowship.
Donate if you can, be a difference maker.
