Join us as the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank, in partnership with the Iberville Parish Council and the Office of Social Services, initiates the distribution of USDA-donated food commodities to families in need in Bayou Pigeon, Bayou Sorrel, North Iberville, and Plaquemine.

Commodities will be given ONLY to those clients that qualify based on the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank and USDA guidelines. Qualification is based on income. You will be registered when you come to pick up the commodities.

Rules for acceptance and participation in the program are the same for everyone without regard to race, color, national origin, age, s*x, or disability. Further information may be obtained by contacting the Office of Social Services at (225) 687-5243.

Who will you honor this Veterans Day? 🇺🇸

The Wall of Veterans is one of the most meaningful parts of our annual Iberville Salute to Veterans, and it lets us recognize the men and women from our families and community who answered the call to serve.

If you have a Veteran you’d like included, submit their photo by Monday, October 5.

Need help? Our Iberville Library branches, Council on Aging Centers, and Visitor’s Center can scan and submit your photo for you!

The Iberville Parish Government is developing an updated master plan, One Iberville, designed to guide future infrastructure investments, economic development, and community improvements in the area.

Public feedback from a series of events last year guided the project team’s identification and development of approaches to meet the changing needs of the community.

Iberville Parish invites you to attend a Community Open House to learn about the draft master plan, connect directly with the planning team, share your feedback, and ask questions.

Community Open Houses will all take place from 5:30 – 7:30 PM with a presentation at 6 PM

Joshua oversees the parish fleet, helping ensure that vehicles and equipment are properly maintained, reliable, and ready to support daily operations. From public works and emergency response to essential parish services, his efforts help keep our departments operating safely and efficiently.

His expertise, dedication, and proactive approach have made a significant impact on parish operations over the years.
