With appreciation for the leadership that has guided us and excitement for the leadership ahead, we recognize outgoing Chair Bob Keeney and welcome incoming Chair John Meyers.
Bob Keeney has completed two terms as Chair of the SWWRPC Commission. Over the last six years, he has led with the experience of both a Grant County Board Chair and business owner. He guided the Commission through the challenges and changes of COVID while consistently balancing service and fiscal responsibility. We are fortunate that he will remain on the board and continue serving our communities in many ways. Thank you, Bob, for your time and service.
Since 2014, John Meyers has served on the SWWRPC board as a commissioner, including the past four years as Secretary/Treasurer. John was raised on a northern Illinois farm. He has spent more than 40 years owning and operating a farm in the community while also building a career as a contract agricultural engineer. His lifelong connection to the land, agriculture, and the people of southwest Wisconsin has given him a deep appreciation for the region's strong sense of community, collaboration, and opportunity. We are honored to welcome John as our next Chair and look forward to the experience, leadership, and guidance he will bring to the Commission in the years ahead.
