Good Afternoon NFL Flag Parents,

Unfortunately, we have some disappointing news regarding this year’s NFL Flag program.

We had been working with lower registration numbers leading up to the registration deadline. By Friday, the final day of registration, we had received just enough registrations to comfortably run the league, and we were excited to move forward with the season.

Yesterday, we sent out our welcome letter with the season information, including practice times and games. Since sending that information, we have had enough players withdraw from the program that we no longer have enough participants to provide a quality league experience.

Because of this, we unfortunately have to cancel the NFL Flag program for this season. We understand this is disappointing, especially after receiving the welcome information yesterday, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and frustration this may cause.

We will be refunding all registration fees in full. Refunds will be processed and returned to everyone before the end of this week.

For those still interested in participating in flag football this fall, we have attached a flyer with information about Platteville Youth flag football league. We encourage you to take a look at that opportunity if you would still like your child to participate this season.

Thank you for your understanding and for your interest in our program. We are disappointed that we are unable to run the league this year, and we appreciate your support of Platteville Parks & Recreation.
