Click It or Ticket – Campaign Wrap-Up
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office has concluded its participation in the Click It or Ticket enforcement campaign, which ran from May 11–31. During this time, 9 deputies increased patrols by 90 hours to ensure compliance with seat belt laws and keep our roadways safe.
Results:
• Seat belt citation: 1
• Speeding Citations: 134
• DUI (Alcohol): 1
• DUI (Drugs): 2
Thank you to everyone who buckled up and helped make Cass County roads safer. Remember, every trip, every time — click it or ticket, slow down, and drive sober.

Officer Kula served 45 years in law enforcement at the federal, state, and municipal levels, including his final assignment as a part-time officer with the Plattsmouth Police Department. Officer Kula was a dedicated public servant who loved his profession and left an impact that will be felt for years to come. Funeral arrangements are pending." - Chief Steve Rathman
