HELP IDENTIFY

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office is asking for assistance identifying the occupants of this white Ford F-150 with black rims and dark window tint.

On August 27, 2026, the vehicle was reportedly driven recklessly on Highway 50 near the Manley Spur and later through a private yard in the 14000 block of Hobscheidt Road, causing property damage. It was last seen traveling southbound near 132nd Street and Weeping Water Road.

The driver was described as a white male, approximately 40 years old, with dark hair. The passenger was described as a white female, approximately 40 years old, with brown hair.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Cass County Sheriff’s Office at 402-296-9370. Both individuals are being sought for identification in connection with this incident.

National Dog Day is observed each year to celebrate dogs of all breeds, recognize the many ways they serve and support people, and raise awareness of dogs awaiting adoption.

Today, we are also proud to recognize K9 Samson, CCSO’s six-year-old, 60-pound Belgian Malinois. Samson is trained in single-purpose drug detection and serves alongside his handler, Deputy Laursen. He takes his work seriously, but we can officially confirm that he is also the goodest of boys. 🐾

Congratulations to Deputy Easton Hanson on receiving the Cass County Sheriff’s Office Lifesaving Award.

Deputy Hanson was recognized for his actions during a May 11, 2026 call in Plattsmouth, where he and Plattsmouth Police Officer Oscar Loya responded to an unresponsive individual in crisis. Deputy Hanson and Officer Loya immediately rendered aid, including CPR and Narcan, and their quick response directly contributed to saving a life. We are proud to recognize Deputy Hanson for his calm response, training, and commitment to protecting life. Please join us in congratulating Deputy Hanson on this well-earned recognition.
