Today volunteers along with Fire Catt hose testing, conducted our annual testing and inspection. This entails pulling every single foot of hose off of the trucks and the spare hose in the station, stretching it out and pressure testing it to ensure it functions properly. This is an all day process but a necessary one to identify any faulty hose. Big thank you to our crews for shuttling trucks back and forth, the Plattsmouth High School for the use of their parking lot and most importantly our city and rural governing bodies for making this an annual priority.
