Yesterday, members from HRFR and other surrounding departments officially completed their Essentials of Firefighting course.
Please join us in congratulating all members of the class on this major accomplishment!

Proudly Representing HRFR:
• Allyse G.
• Nash H.
• Ibraham A.
• Shane M.
• Ethan G.
• Nickolas N.
• Garrett R.

5 of these completed over 130 hours of training while also being FULL-TIME college students, with some balancing jobs on top of their coursework.

Their dedication, commitment, and willingness to continue learning new skills makes our department incredibly proud.

Four of these members are students at Juniata College, while another traveled back from school in Pittsburgh to attend each class session. The effort and sacrifice shown by these individuals has not gone unnoticed within our department or throughout the community.

These members will continue advancing their training over the next two weeks as they work toward completing Firefighter 1.

We wish each of you the very best of luck and cannot wait to watch you continue to grow within our department and the fire service!
