The Performance Bearing 360/2bbl sprint car was at its first race a week ago. A dual race event in Mountain Home Idaho was the site. Trying to teach an old straight line dog the new trick of turning left was quite a chore. In addition, learning tire stagger, shock rates, torsion bar weights and block heights, it was a full on mental over load. It was a great time, racing with my son Ryan and the other great racers at the event made it very enjoyable. I think driving into a turn at 90+ mph, turning with the throttle and turning right to go left will become easier over time….. as for now, there is and always will be a great amount of respect for those drivers who make it look easy.
