Howdy to all my students from my 34 years of teaching. Well this year is it, for reals, and I am so filled with gratitude to have taught so many of you!
As I end my classroom career here at PHHS I have noticed that we have a nice, newish school, a new library, a bold logo and branding, and a refurbished turf and track. But we still have the sign out front of our school from the Classes of '98 and '99. This sign has done a fine job, but like me, it is time to retire.
I wondering if any of you would be interesting in partnering with me, and several other Billies in supporting a renovation? We already have a beautiful donation for a new sign (see below) but I am trying to raise money to create the landscaping around the sign that will declare our pride and appreciation for our school.
Interested? If you have a little or a lot, we are trying to raise $7000 for the landscaping. You can donate to our Pleasant Hill Education Foundation website for a tax deduction.
I will tell you more to come in the next few weeks! The top picture is our current lonely sign on Enterprise. Below is the design for the new, and below that is my attempt to include landscaping.
