Congratulations to Coach Bruns and the Pleasant Hill Scholar Bowl Team!! Varsity went 3-0 in their first conference quad. JV played close matches and went 1-2. The season is off to a great start!

I’m so proud of the Pleasant Hill Scholar Bowl team! We just finished our conference quad season and JV ended undefeated and Varsity finished 12-1. Dealing with virtual quads and weather delays didn’t deter these great kids! Wish us luck in the conference tournament tonight!

Do you like to read? Do you want to help out Pleasant Hill Scholar Bowl? I am looking for two people that would be willing to read questions for our meet this Wednesday evening. The time commitment is 4:15-7:45 pm. You would need to be at the high school with a laptop (if you don’t have one-I can provide one) at 4:15. Dinner from the creamery will be ordered for you as well. 😊

Varsity Scholar Bowl competed in the Central Bulldog Virtual Tournament today. Our record was 7-2 and we were in a four way tie for 2nd place. The tie breaker was average points per game and we ended up taking 4th place. I am super proud of this team and we had fun too!

I’m super proud of these scholars! We placed 5th out of 16 teams from around the state in our first virtual novice tournament. Our record was 4-2, a few of those wins real nail biters!
UPDATE! There was a scoring error at the tournament and we should have been placed in the 3rd place match- so- they declared the Roosters tied for 3rd! Mistakes happen, no worries- I’m still very proud of this team. 😊

Well- here’s a first for Scholar Bowl- our first tournament of the year and we didn’t have to leave the high school. Our JV team performed great and went 2-1 and landed in a playoff bracket! We will compete again later this week.
