Monday, April 6 PMES was dispatched to assist Thompson on a working structure fire. PMES responded with Engine 28-1, and tankers 5 & 6. Engine 28-1 was supplied by tanker 5 and pumped to Susquehanna's ladder positioned on Alpha side. Tanker 6 suppled attack lines and Browndale ladder on Charlie side. All companies worker well together to extinguish a very stubborn fire.

On Tuesday members from PMES, Thompson Hose Company and Browndale Fire Co. No.1 Station 43 participated in joint training of vehicle rescue at our Headquarters.

9/11 Memorial Service Local Hero Appreciation Day

The 4th annual September 11th Memorial Service Local Hero Appreciation Day will be returning to Pleasant Mount this Sunday, September 14th. Firefighters, Emergency Medical Services, Police, National Guard, and Military will be honored with several guest speakers. The first 50 community honorees will also receive gift. At the event, there will be firetrucks, ambulances, a police car, the National Guard, food from Texas Roadhouse and other vendors. There will also be children’s games, prizes, and 100 items to be raffled off. The event will be held at the Pleasant Mount Emergency Services Building at 1:30pm. We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Carl Robinson, a dedicated lifetime member of Pleasant Mount Emergency Services & the former Belmont Fire Co.
Carl faithfully served the community up until recently as a member of the Board of Trustees, former Fire Chief, an Emergency Medical Responder for 28-3 (with his beloved wife, Bernie), amongst many other titles.
Carl was a devout Christian, passionate farmer and a friend to all who knew him. Last & certainly not least, he was a loving husband and father.
