Earlier this week marked a new chapter as we welcomed Chief Peter Knudsen to the Pleasant Valley Fire Department. It was an honor and pleasure for the men and women of the PVFD to be a part of the ceremony and to have him and his family become part of ours. Chief Knudsen brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from his time with the Kansas City Missouri Fire Department and we are excited for our future with him at the helm. Please join us in welcoming him to our family!

We are hiring!!!!

We are looking for motivated and dedication FF/EMTs and FF/Paramedics. Duties include both emergency and non-emergency situations related to firefighting, advanced life support, hazardous materials response, and emergency management delivery. Perform leadership and responsibility for patient care at the emergency medical scene and advanced life support care as required and defined by medical protocols.

No interfacility transports!

The men and women of the Pleasant Valley Fire Fighters Association did it again! They made this year's Santa on the Fire Truck another fun and successful event. We thank everyone that pitched in and helped today, including Mayor Slater. We hope everyone enjoyed seeing Santa Claus and may have gotten some candy and a stuffed animal too! We hope you enjoy the pictures and please share any of yours in the comments!

FREE COVID Testing!!!!!

Free COVID Testing Monday 11/9/2020. 10:30am until 1:30pm. This will be a drive through event held at Pleasant Valley Fire Station, 8108 Pleasant Valley Rd. Pleasant Valley MO 64068.

Enter off of Orchard Street west side of station. This event is hosted by City of Pleasant Valley in conjunction with Clay County Health and Heart to Heart International.
