Mariannette Miller-Meeks & Christina Bohannan with respect, this is embarrassing.

You are two professional politicians.

You should be able to chew me up and spit me out with ease.

Voters deserve a debate. We know you know this, so why are you not responding to The Iowa Press?

Why are you hiding from the people you’re hoping to represent?

District 1 deserves better than this.

TLDR:

Camp Bohannan says she’s waiting for MMM to accept the Iowa Press debate invite. She’s refusing to debate Bridgford without her duopoly-partner-in-crime MMM there.

Camp MMM says she’s looking forward to the debate, yet she’s leaving the Iowa Press hanging by not *actually* accepting the debate invite.

Does that feel misleading? 🤔

Meanwhile Bridgford is the only candidate in their 3-way race who has given a clear and enthusiastic “yes” to the Iowa Press debate invite.


MMM & Bohannan seem to be hiding in hopes we’re all too busy to notice their absence on the debate stage.

“The voters of Iowa’s 1st District deserve more than campaign ads and talking points,” Bridgford said. “They deserve our respect. That means seeing every candidate stand side-by-side, answer the tough questions, and debate the issues that matter most to their families and communities before deciding who will represent them in Congress.”

Debates set so far include one between gubernatorial candidates Zach Lahn and Rob Sand that will be hosted by KWQC in Davenport.

Is flock tracking you?

We visited one of several flock cameras popping up all over the 1st district.

It’s alarming to witness just how much outsiders are tracking our every move here in Iowa. 📸

This is not a lost cause though.

Bridgford has accepted no special interest money and that includes big tech. 🙅

Which means he will owe them zero favors when gets to Washington.

Can his party opponents say the same? 🤔

November is around the corner.
