The right hand lane of Filmore Harris Road will be closed from the Hwy 49 end to Callie Lane in Legacy Fields from the hours of 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. this Thursday, Friday, and possibly Saturday - July 23rd - 25th, for tree removal.

Due to low vendor participation and extreme heat, the decision has been made to postpone Climb A Truck until Spring 2027. We will be reaching out to the registered vendors today. We look forward to everyone joining us in the spring.

ALDERMAN POSITION

The Board of Mayor and Aldermen for the Town of Pleasant View will be accepting resumes for candidates for an open Aldermen seat. This seat will be for August thru November 2026, until the next election in November 2026.

Resumes can be sent to Pleasant View City Hall, 1008 Civic Court. Resumes must be received prior to 12:00 noon on Monday, August 3rd.

Fireworks are not allowed to be shot from any of the Parks(parking lots included) in Pleasant View nor from any property that the Town of Pleasant View owns.

Weather permitting - there will be a short parade this afternoon for the Pleasant View Softball All Stars. The parade will begin at 6:00 p.m. starting at Pleasant View Elementary School, continuing down Church Street, then right on Main Street, right on Bradley Street, right on Hwy 41A, then back from the Main Intersection to Church Street ending at Pleasant View Elementary School.

The parade should last around 15 minutes and cause minimal disruptions to traffic.
