Today we are incredibly thankful for the generosity and support of the Atascosa County School Safety Fund, whose donation has provided our campuses with Falcon Ballistic Shields. This meaningful contribution strengthens our ability to respond quickly and safely during critical incidents while adding an important layer of protection for our students, staff, and first responders.

Because of the commitment of this community and its local partners, every school district in Atascosa County now has access to this life-saving equipment. Acts like this remind us that school safety is truly a team effort.

We are deeply grateful for the continued support and shared dedication to protecting our schools and those who learn and work within them. Together, we are building safer campuses and a stronger community.

Pleasanton ISD Police Department along with other local law enforcement agencies will be conducting Police training for the next couple of days on campus. Training strengthens campus safety, ensuring students, staff and the community are safe.

Our students had the opportunity to learn from our K9 Officer Cornelius and his K9 partner Melo about the dangers of drugs and their impact on health and future success. Students also enjoyed a live demonstration from the PISD PD K9 team.
