Ladies and Gentlemen of the United States of America: We are American Legion Post 237
We are a Veterans Service Organization that is also a social organization, gathering in camaraderie and dedicated to volunteering in our cities of Pleasanton, Dublin, San Ramon, and the surrounding areas. We promote Americanism through our volunteer service programs, and by engaging our Community we demonstrate being a Veteran is awesome.
We help make the Tri-Valley a good place to live, work, and play. We want to give opportunities for positive experiences our children and youth may build upon thereafter. We want our resources and partnerships to assist Veterans in supporting themselves. We support those organizations that do the same. We want the community to enjoy our joie de vivre, smiles, and laughter bursting forth. We invite our fellow Citizens to stand and reflect during our remembrances of fallen Heroes, as Taps is played, when the Color Guard marches the streets.
We encourage our Veterans Community and Servicemembers to come out and be social, whether it be our Saturday Morning Coffees, bingo nights, or just hanging out at the Veterans Hall when the Mission of the Day is complete.
Membership Meetings: Second Tuesday of every month, starts at 1900. Contact us on how you may participate. Calling all Veterans! Come join us every Saturday for coffee and doughnuts 0700-0830. We welcome Veterans and Servicemembers regardless of membership to Post 237. One way to help?
