Andy's Glow Foundation

Andy's Glow Foundation Andy's Glow Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit foundation that aims to inspire HOPE after the loss of a loved one.

We also do community outreach to those that are homeless and struggling with substance use disoder. Andy's Glow Foundation

Founded in 2016, Andy's Glow Foundation emerged from a profound personal loss: the passing of my only son due to the disease of addiction. After years of battling substance use, he developed epilepsy and, after enduring numerous seizures, tragically passed away on November 7,

2012. In honor of his memory, we launched the Andy's Glow Foundation, hosting our inaugural grief support group on August 1, 2016, which coincides with my son's birthday. We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our Services

We offer a range of essential services, including:

Grief Support and One-on-One Grief Counseling
Education on Suicide, Addiction, and Alcoholism
Crisis Intervention
Grief and Treatment Resources
Community Outreach Services, including the provision of clothing, food, and resources for individuals struggling with Substance Use Disorder (SUD)

Our Mission

The mission of Andy’s Glow Foundation is to provide care and support to individuals, families, and communities who have experienced the loss of a loved one. We aim to offer comprehensive resources that foster a compassionate community through grief awareness, education, and support. We create a safe space for those navigating the challenges of grief, enabling them to process their emotions and manage their experiences. Additionally, we engage in outreach initiatives aimed at at-risk populations to help mitigate stressors that may lead to overdose, suicide, or death related to substance use, homelessness, and food insecurity. Our Vision

We envision a world where every grieving adult, child, and family is not left to suffer in silence but instead finds hope, healing, and renewed happiness. We strive to provide vital resources for our homeless community and those grappling with substance use challenges, while also offering support to families, friends, and loved ones affected by this disease.

πŸ’™πŸ’› What An Honor to Be Invited to Recovery Court πŸ’™πŸ’›

Today, Andy’s Glow Foundation had the honor of being invited to Recovery Court to share our story, our mission, and the work we are doing in our community.

We are so grateful for the opportunity to speak with Judge Wilson and Lindsey Christine and we shared how our foundation is working to bring hope, compassion, resources, and support to individuals and families affected by substance use disorder and those effect with grief.

We did a presentation for those on recovery court and it was great. Every conversation is an opportunity to remind someone that recovery is possible, hope is real, and no one has to walk this journey alone. πŸ’™πŸ’›

Thank you, welcoming Andy’s Glow Foundation and allowing us to share Andy’s legacy through the work we do.

Andy’s Glow continues to shine. βœ¨πŸ’™πŸ’›

The Andy’s Glow Foundation visited the Black Poster Project, and it was a powerful and emotional experience. πŸ–€πŸ’œ

As a grassroots organization, Andy’s Glow Foundation is committed to keeping the conversation going about substance use, overdose, recovery, grief, and the lives behind the statistics. We stand with families, honor those we’ve lost, support those still struggling, and work to bring compassion, resources, and hope to our community.

The Black Poster Project reminds us that behind every poster is a person who was loved, a family who is grieving, and a story that deserves to be remembered.

Their lives mattered. Their stories matter. And Andy’s Glow Foundation will continue to shine a light. πŸ’œβœ¨

We invite you to learn more about the Black Poster Project and Andy’s Glow Foundation, share this message, and help continue the conversation in your own community. Whether you support our work, connect someone with resources, or simply take time to listen and remember, your compassion makes a difference.

Good morning πŸ’™ Have a great day.
