We also do community outreach to those that are homeless and struggling with substance use disoder. Andy's Glow Foundation
Founded in 2016, Andy's Glow Foundation emerged from a profound personal loss: the passing of my only son due to the disease of addiction. After years of battling substance use, he developed epilepsy and, after enduring numerous seizures, tragically passed away on November 7,
2012. In honor of his memory, we launched the Andy's Glow Foundation, hosting our inaugural grief support group on August 1, 2016, which coincides with my son's birthday. We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our Services
We offer a range of essential services, including:
Grief Support and One-on-One Grief Counseling
Education on Suicide, Addiction, and Alcoholism
Crisis Intervention
Grief and Treatment Resources
Community Outreach Services, including the provision of clothing, food, and resources for individuals struggling with Substance Use Disorder (SUD)
Our Mission
The mission of Andy’s Glow Foundation is to provide care and support to individuals, families, and communities who have experienced the loss of a loved one. We aim to offer comprehensive resources that foster a compassionate community through grief awareness, education, and support. We create a safe space for those navigating the challenges of grief, enabling them to process their emotions and manage their experiences. Additionally, we engage in outreach initiatives aimed at at-risk populations to help mitigate stressors that may lead to overdose, suicide, or death related to substance use, homelessness, and food insecurity. Our Vision
We envision a world where every grieving adult, child, and family is not left to suffer in silence but instead finds hope, healing, and renewed happiness. We strive to provide vital resources for our homeless community and those grappling with substance use challenges, while also offering support to families, friends, and loved ones affected by this disease.
