On Tuesday, August 24, I had the honor of opening the dedication of a new pocket park entitled “Crossroads Park” in Pluckemin, New Jersey. This park honors the Pluckemin Cantonment of 1778 and provides the community and business area with a relaxing and historic refuge.

On Sunday June 14th I had the distinct privilege of crying at and MCing the “Echoes of Liberty” concert celebration with the Hanover Wind Symphony honoring Hanover Township’s recognition of America's 250th Anniversary and Whippany's 350th Anniversary.

The program featured an opening cry, historical narration, patriotic music, Scouts, reenactors, a salute to our Armed Forces and audience participation in "God Bless America.

Had the honor of giving the opening cry at the Morris Plains Memorial Day service. It was truly an honor to celebrate Morris Plains 100th anniversary and to show respect for those currently serving and who have served and given the ultimate sacrifice on this Memorial Day weekend.  As a bonus I got to see a giant potato.
