Rio Del Oro P T O is a dedicated group of parents and teachers committed to bringing out the best in our students. By supporting their activities,education and families, we encourage our children and teach them valuable lessons on contributing to their communities and volunteer work and simply being good citizens. While we do have fundraisers, these events are for the sole purpose of supporting ou
r school and adding to the school life environment by contributing towards a smart board, or a reading garden. It's about spending time with your children, showing interest in what they learn at school and being a part of it. It's about working with your child's teacher to help improve classroom experiences, and your child's education. PTO does not work without our parents and we are needed for simple things, even if it's spending an hour of your day reading to a class, sharing what you do, contributing with donations for events, working a book fair, creating a poster or participating in any small form. It's our job as parents to help support them. Be a part of these years, support your PTO board and teachers.
