I wanted to give everyone an important update regarding our diaper program. Tuesday, August 25th will be our last diaper distribution event before the program is temporarily suspended while I am out on maternity leave.

I have put a lot of time, care, and hard work into getting this program up and running, and I am incredibly proud of how many families we have been able to support. Unfortunately, while I am away, we do not currently have the staffing capacity for someone to take over the day-to-day operation of the diaper program. Because of that, services will need to pause until I return from maternity leave.

I know how important access to diapers is for our families, so I want to make sure everyone is aware of another great resource while our program is paused. ❤️

PARTNERS INW in Spokane Valley, WA offers diaper assistance and allows families to place diaper orders online. Families are able to receive a generous amount of diapers each month, and I strongly encourage anyone who needs assistance while I am gone to utilize this resource.

Thank you to everyone who has supported this program, utilized it, shared it with families, donated, or helped us grow it. It has truly become something I care deeply about, and I look forward to getting it back up and running when I return. 💕

If you are needing diapers this week, please try to place your diaper order today so I can have your order prepared and ready for pickup by Tuesday.

If you aren’t able to get your order in today, that’s okay! You can place your order and plan to pick up your diapers on Wednesday when I am back in the office.

I would like to thank everyone in our community for coming out and supporting our new Diaper Program! I am so grateful to be able to provide this resource to families in our rural community, and it has been wonderful to see so many people taking advantage of it.

I also wanted to share another excellent diaper resource available through Partners INW. If you're a parent or caregiver in need of diapers, you can visit www.partnersinw.org to place an online diaper order. The process is simple, and they typically respond within 48 hours.

If you or someone you know is in need of other resources or support, please don't hesitate to reach out. If I don't have the answer, I'll do my best to help connect you with someone who does.

We are excited to announce the launch of our Community Diaper Support Program beginning Tuesday, June 16th. 💛

Distribution will be every Tuesday from 10am-2pm at the Coeur D' Alene Tribal Social Services Building.
