It’s almost time for the Amador County Fair!
My girl has put so much blood, sweat & tears into these animals! If you want to come and support her, she will be showing her turkey July 23rd at 1pm, and Pigs Thursday July 25 at 8am. Auction is Sunday July 28th at 10:30. Wish her luck! 🍀

Btw we have 8 additional turkeys we will be processing in a few weeks! Home grown and ready to go for Thanksgiving! Let me know if you’re interested in one, it will go to her Horse/College fund.

Baby watch started at dawn, It’s going to be a long day! Anastasia CowGirls Calf is much anticipated. She has overcome so much since I purchased her at the TLBAA Horn Showcase in Texas 3 yrs ago. She is my absolute favorite girl in the pasture and this will be her first calf!! Her Grandmother is the best producing Grulla cow out there! Over the moon excited!!

I cant tell you how much I love this little girl. 🤍 Sweet and curious, just like her Momma Pacific Carter and her Sire Winning Look. WestGate’s Dancing in the Moonlight (Dancie) is gonna be a show stopper! Her Great Grandmother Wiregrass Laura is one of the greatest-longhorns in history.

Tonight under the light of the Wolf Moon 🐺 🌕 Pacific Carter gave birth to our last calf out of Winning Look! Not only is she a heifer, she’s a flashy one! Today was good day!

Bringing Short Stack home
One our cows we lost last year. 😞 Thank you for giving her a beautiful place to rest. Can’t wait to get her all cleaned up and have her beautiful twisted horns with us forever!

Mixed feelings about today. Our Big guy Winning Look has done his job he’s moving on to help a New Ranch with their program. 😢 We have exciting news that we are working on and can’t wait to share!! 🤠

Back when this all started, and we had 5 longhorns I would deliver hay out to the pasture in my old 55 truck. I’ve long since stopped doing that because we have so many more mouths to feed. But, the OG Longhorns remember this truck and get excited when they see it!
