Whether you are a Wayzata student, an alumni, a local business person, parent, guardian, grandparent, or a fan of the Wayzata Public Schools, we welcome you! We look forward to using this page to share with you the many exciting things happening in our schools. You can expect to see news releases posted here, as well as links to coming events and activities. We’ll also post photos of our students

and staff engaged in exciting activities. This page also provides an opportunity for you to share your thoughts with us. Whatever the topic, we invite you to post your comments and offer your insights. This page is really a conversation between the community and its school district. Having a respectful and open dialogue about important issues is what this is really all about. We look forward to hearing from you! Simple guidelines for participating on this page
Be respectful. Personal attacks will not be tolerated. Inappropriate remarks and profanity will be deleted. This page is not about any one individual. It’s about all of us. Please, no relentless grandstanding on favorite topics or ranting on personal issues. No one wants to see this fan page hijacked by someone using it as a personal forum or posting too frequently. Looking to increase your income? Want to boost your product’s sales? Running for political office? Publish a personal page, and leave ours for sharing news and insights about our school. Stay on topic. This is a page dedicated to Wayzata Public Schools. Let’s keep the conversation related to our district. Comments of all kinds are welcome as long as they directly relate to the district. Have a question for a specific employee? Contact them privately. Fans should not expect responses to every question or comment posted. Employees of Wayzata Public Schools may have personal pages. Don’t be surprised (or offended) if your request to “friend” them is ignored. Many of us wish to keep our personal lives personal. Abuse of the above guidelines can lead to blocking or removal from our fan page. For more information, contact the district Communication Department at 763-745-5000.

Parks’ Place celebrated WHS Students in the Class of 2026 who serve as remarkable caregivers and activity assistants.

These students participated in a graduation celebration, recognizing their achievement and sharing the moment with the residents.

Parks’ Place is one of our partner sites for the CNA course, and most of these students completed the course at WHS before joining Parks’ Place’s team.

What a great opportunity to celebrate all these students!

Last week, we celebrated our Honors Mentor Connection (HMC) students as they presented their research projects at the Honors Mentor Connection Scholars Forum.

HMC is a full-year class that supports students in developing a research question they are passionate about, connects them with a professor, and helps them develop skills essential to a career in academia.

The Honors Mentor Connection Scholars Forum began with a brief program and was followed by a poster session in the Commons. Here, 25 HMC students displayed their work and described their research to the audience members.

Congratulations to all our HMC students for your incredible accomplishments! Thank you to advisors Amanda Laden and Amy Swenson for supporting our HMC students.
