As of 7 pm this evening, the gas company continues to work on containing the leak. The affected area is confined to the eastern side of the bridge, in close proximity to the municipal building. At this time, individuals on the western side of the bridge are not deemed to be at immediate risk. Nonetheless, gas vapors are still detectable. Please proceed with caution when driving through the area. Both emergency services and law enforcement are monitoring the situation closely. Further updates will follow as made available.

Please keep a safe distance from the West Broadway street bridge and Village office. AMP has reported a gas line incident. For public safety, it's essential to maintain a safe distance.
