Happiest of Mother’s Days to all of the Mamas out there. A special shout-out to this lady, who stops at nothing to make sure these three boys have everything they need day in, and day out. You are the glue that holds it all together.

Joey, Tommy, Brody, and all of your fur baby’s love you more and more every year. Proud to call you my wife and honored to share another year with you as a parent.

Tonight we finished our spring annual town meeting. While there were a lot of questions about hosting town meeting on a virtual platform, I believe it went very well.

Key takeaway, town meeting voted overwhelmingly to preserve the School Budget restoring $1.9 million in funding that would have otherwise been cut. This was critical to ensuring PPS continue to have the necessary funding to operate during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We also made a lot of tough decisions included deferring and cutting spending that totaled over $8.5 million.

Overall, following town meeting, Plymouth has an approved budget that is significantly less than what was originally proposed and we have maintained the critical services our community needs during the current pandemic.

I commend each of the town meeting representatives, we have taken a fiscally responsible approach to the year and have protected the taxpayer from undue burden of increased taxes.

Great afternoon in Boston at the Massachusetts Young Republicans biennial conference. A great panel discussion with elected YRs including Lee Truschelli, Ryan Egan, and Representative Joe McKenna moderated by Joe Paru . It was nice to hear from the Massachusetts Republican Party Chairman Jim Lyons on the party’s plan for the future and commitment to our candidates up and down the ticket. Finally wrapping it all up with a family trip to the The Barking Crab for a traditional bowl of clam chowder!
